A connection module that makes boot glitch procedures on MD1 / MG1 ECUs more practical.
Resistance Steps
The RESISTANCE slider switches between the 5Ω, 3.3Ω and 0Ω positions, so there is no need to wire and unwire resistors by hand.
ECU Type Selection
The ECU TYPE slider switches between the A and B connection layouts. The connection points for both layouts are marked separately on the board.
BOOT Control
The BOOT button lets you engage and release the boot connection at the exact moment the procedure requires it.
What Is the Boot Glitch Adapter?
The Boot Glitch Adapter is a helper module developed to make the resistor and boot connections used during bench/boot work on supported MD1 and MG1 ECUs easier to manage.
On some locked ECUs a boot glitch procedure is applied in order to gain read/write access. How Does It Work?

Follow the Diagram
The technician follows the connection diagram that the programming tool shows for the relevant ECU.
Select the ECU Type
The ECU TYPE slider is set to A or B. The board is marked with connection points 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15, 28 for row A and 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 28 for row B.
Set the Resistance
The RESISTANCE slider selects the 5Ω, 3.3Ω or 0Ω position. The value to use is determined by the ECU and by the procedure shown by your tool.
Control It With BOOT
The connection is taken to the ECU side through the OUT terminal block; the boot connection is engaged or released with the BOOT button when the procedure requires it.
