How is the leak test done with the device?

• You can use baby oil for the test. Fill 20 ml of baby oil and hang the device.
• Start the device after giving 12V electricity to the device.
• The device will fill the pipe with smoke within 30 seconds, while you check the leak points.

What you need to pay attention to when working with the device:

• If you are using the ANCEL S3000 smoke detector for the first time, fill the device with 20 ml of baby oil. Be careful not to add more than 20 ml.
• Fill the oil when the smoke starts to decrease and make sure it is 20 ml.
• You should change the oil of the device regularly.
• Do not operate the device for more than 8 minutes because the device needs to rest.
• The device is hot during operation, you should be careful when touching it.
• If you need to separate the pipes, you need to cover the other sides with stoppers.
