Five expansions on the off-road and motocross side, plus nine on road, touring, scooter and ATV — 14 protocol updates in total. From Honda CRF and Gold Wing to Vespa and Piaggio, from KTM adventure to Yamaha ATVs, workshops now face a much wider customer base.

What Changes for Your Workshop?
The 2026 motorcycle updates expand what one KESS3 platform can deliver across very different customer profiles:
- Wider model coverage — Off-road (CRF, KX, Desmo 450), adventure (KTM/Husqvarna), touring (Gold Wing), scooter (Vespa, SYM) and ATV on the same device portfolio.
- Connection flexibility — OBD, BENCH and BOOT options completed where they were missing; pick the fastest path for each job.
- Powergate opportunity — KTM/Husqvarna, Gold Wing and Piaggio/Vespa OBD updates work with Powergate; you can offer a mobile option after workshop work.
- Steady volume — Scooter and urban models (Monkey, SH, Vespa, SYM) bring regular service demand; touring and ATV add premium and side revenue.

Off-Road, Motocross and Adventure
Honda CRF — Motocross and Enduro
BENCH mode was added for the Keihin 38770-MKE ECU. CRF 250 R and CRF 450 series (R, RL, L, RX) can now be accessed from the connector without opening the ECU. OBD and BOOT were already available — three modes together.
On the floor, that means shorter job time and more controlled map work for MX and enduro customers.
Kawasaki KX — Race Segment
BENCH support was added for Keihin 21175-11XX on KX 250 F and KX 450 F. OBD and BOOT already existed; in 2026 all connection modes are complete on this platform.
Ducati Desmo 450 — Next-Gen Off-Road
The 2025 Ducati Desmo 450 with Keihin 6001-2934-000 is supported in BOOT mode. This desmodromic 450cc platform opens a new customer group in off-road racing.
KTM and Husqvarna — Enduro, Supermoto, Adventure
An OBD protocol was released for Keihin A6264103100. Coverage includes 690 and 701 enduro/supermoto models plus the 1390 Super Adventure R. Powergate support comes with this update. See Alientech Powergate.
Triumph — Euro 5 Adventure and Sport
BENCH mode was added for Keihin RH850 on the Triumph Euro 5 range (2020+): Bonneville, Rocket 3, Street Triple, Tiger and Trident 660.
Road, Touring, Scooter and ATV
Honda Gold Wing — Grand Touring
OBD and BENCH protocols were released for Keihin 38770-MKC. Gold Wing remains the reference long-distance touring platform — fast OBD work, direct BENCH access and Powergate in one stack.
Piaggio and Vespa — Maxi Scooter and Urban
OBD and BENCH support was expanded for Marelli PGXXX ECUs on Beverly, MP3, GTS, Primavera and Sprint. Piaggio Group has a strong scooter presence; regular service and remap demand stay high in this segment.
Aprilia and Moto Guzzi — Sport Touring
BENCH mode was added for Marelli 11MP. Coverage includes RS 660, RSV4, Tuono and Tuareg, plus Stelvio, V7 and V85.
Honda Monkey and SH — Urban
A BOOT protocol was released for Keihin 38770-XXX on Monkey and SH series — compact platforms with strong daily-ride demand.
SYM — Scooter Segment
BOOT support arrived for Keihin 6001-19NG-001 on Dragon, DRG, Mamba and Maxsym.
Yamaha and Kawasaki — ATV
BENCH was added for Mitsubishi 2UD-8591A-00 on Yamaha Grizzly and Kodiak, and for Mitsubishi 21175-1898 on Kawasaki Ridge 1000.
CF Moto and Multi-Brand ATV Platforms
BENCH was released for Bosch MG1UA008 on CF Moto U-Force CF1000UTR-8, and for Delphi MT05.2 on Aeon, AJP, Benelli and Quadro platforms.
