How Is Vehicle Performance Measured?

The most effective way to measure vehicle performance is through active tests.

Active testing means correctly analysing the functionality of a running vehicle's engine.

Correct evaluation of the engine's horsepower and torque, the most important part of the vehicle, and transmission shift performance from the transmission to the engine ECU gives us accurate information about vehicle performance.

Devices have been produced for these operations. These devices correctly analyse and present vehicle speed, acceleration, engine horsepower, torque and pulling power.

Dynoroad works as follows.

First, Dynoroad is mounted on the wheel on the non-driven axle.

After the device is mounted correctly with the supplied connection adapters, it is turned on from the on/off button. After it is turned on, the status LED starts blinking.

After these stages, connection is made to the application downloaded to the phone or tablet.

After the seat belt is fastened, the vehicle is started and activated via MagicMotorsport.

On the first screen, test parameters are configured and vehicle information is entered.

Then calibration is performed by maintaining 40 km/h for 20 seconds. After calibration, Dynoroad is ready for initial data.
