What Is Mercedes DPF Reset?
Mercedes DPF reset is a workshop term covering service functions such as updating the counter/learned values after diesel particulate filter service, or a forced regeneration. Menu names may look different in Xentry.
Blockage, pressure/temperature sensors, and driving profile should be examined first. "Reset alone" does not fix a mechanical blockage.
Illegally defeating emission systems is not the subject of this page and is not acceptable.
These procedures generally go through engine ECU diagnostics; mercedes-xentry or a supported tool is required.
