These headlights use electronic sensors that can detect your steering angle according to the direction of your vehicle. Data from the sensors are interpreted by the ECU.
These data are values that give the vehicle speed, the angle and the length of the bend. Then the ECU sends the information about how many degrees and which direction it will turn to the engines connected to the headlights.
