AL301 diagnostic tool lets you perform basic operations in the simplest way: read and clear fault codes, reset and turn off the fault light, view live data, and read and display the VIN.
Connection to the vehicle is made through the OBD port. Operations are performed with the Enter and Scroll buttons on the device. It shows all faults in the vehicle module over the CAN protocol.
Fault codes (DTC) are read with the 'Read' function in the menu. After they are displayed, start the vehicle.
You can clear faults with the 'Eraser' option in the menu. This way you detect and clear all faults on the vehicle. With the 'VIN' option you can display the vehicle chassis number.
