What Is ECU Software?
The ECU contains software. By modifying this software, desired operations can be performed on the vehicle. You can perform ECU cloning, chiptuning, fault code disabling (DTC off) and many other operations.
How Is the Flex Device Connected?
The Flex device has three types of connection: OBD connection, pin connection and boot connection.
How to Connect FLEX to the Vehicle via OBD?
The Flex device box contains two OBD cables.
A green cable and a red cable. When you enter the Flex program, the schematic section shows which cable you need to use. Connect the indicated cable to the vehicle, turn the ignition on and follow the instructions given by the Flex program.

How to Connect FLEX in Bench Mode?
Connect the Flex devices (Flex and Flexbox) to each other. Take the pin cables out of the box and open the Flex program.
Select the ECU you will connect inside the program and attach the cables to the Flex device and ECU pin terminals according to the connection schematic, then continue the read operation following the instructions from the device and program.
How to Connect FLEX via Boot Mode on the ECU?
Connect the Flex devices to each other as in the pin connection, following the schematic.
Open the rear cover of the ECU and solder our cable to the point where it asks us to apply the boot cable (purple cable).
If there are resistors in the connection, we also add resistors to the legs indicated and follow the given instructions.
That is how simple read operations are — the Flex device has a straightforward program you can use easily.
