ODIS (Offboard Diagnostic Information System) is the official diagnostic software ecosystem within the VAG Group. Workshops use it for diagnostics, test plans, coding, and many flashing processes.
On the hardware side, vag-vas-5054 and DoIP-focused vag-vas-6154 are commonly paired with it. On newer vehicles, vag-sfd-lock affects the write steps within ODIS sessions.
