Tractor General Fault Lights And Indicator Lights

The electrical circuits of the tractor are controlled by various control units.

While the tractor is running, these control units record data that can be read one after the other. If a functional malfunction occurs, a malfunction code is generated on the tractor's ecu and this malfunction code is stored in memory.

Most of these fault codes automatically appear on the numerical display in front of the driver.

Tractor Fault Code - Indicator Fault Lights And Their Meanings

1-When an important malfunction occurs, the red STOP light starts to flash. Stop the engine IMMEDIATELY and determine the cause of the malfunction.

2-When a malfunction occurs, the yellow WARNING light starts to flash. This light also flashes when the parking brake is applied with the engine running and the reverser lever is moved to any position other than its neutral position.

3-When a failure occurs in the hydraulic system or any electrical component connected to the transmission, the blue INFORMATION light starts blinking. Consult your John Deere dealer.

4 - this indicator light comes on when the parking brake is applied and the engine is running. Depending on how the tractor is equipped, an additional audible warning signal can be heard.

5-This light comes on when the ignition key is turned to the right to its original position. Wait for this light to go out before starting the engine.

6-This flashing warning light comes on when the hazard warning light operates.

7-Flashing indicator lights, turn signal lights or hazard warning lights start to flash when switched to position when turned on.

8 - This light comes on when the rear PTO is activated.

9-These lights indicate which speed is selected for the rear PTO.

10 - This light comes on when HMS Plus is selected.

11 - This light comes on when the front wheel drive is engaged. When the front wheel drive is in automatic mode, the letter A also lights up.

12-This light comes on when the differential lock is activated.

13 - When the headlights are turned to the high beam setting, the high beam indicator light turns on.

14- For PowrQuad Plus or AutoQuad Plus powertrain, this light comes on with the number indicating the selected gear.

15-These illuminated sections show the largest available gear settings.

16- In tractors with air brakes, this light turns on when the air pressure is insufficient to work with the car.

17- This light turns on when AutoQuad Plus or AutoPowr / IVT power transmission switches to automatic mode.

18- This light turns on when the direction changer is in forward position.

19- This light turns on when the deflector is in its natural position.

20-This light turns on when the direction changer arm is in its reverse position.

21-This light turns on when the direction changer arm is in parking position.

For the 22-PowrQuad Plus or AutoQuad Plus transmission, the numbers 1-4 indicate which gear is selected.

23-This light comes on when the PowrQuad Plus or AutoQuad Plus powertrain is in reptile mode.

24-This light comes on when the transport lock of the electric multi-function handle is activated.

25-This light comes on when the transport lock of the E-SCV / E-ICV handle is activated.

26 This light comes on when the front PTO is engaged.
