How to Change Oil in Vehicles with DSG Transmission?

We introduce the CAT-501S, which cleans and services automatic transmissions professionally and performs oil changes automatically.

CAT-501S displays fluid temperature and pressure in the transmission and, once the target vehicle is selected, reads its specifications and capacity from the device database.

Device Features

• Filling cleaning fluid
• Identifying transmission type by viscosity (internal resistance to flow)
• Built-in printer
• Detecting new or used fluid with illuminated indicators

• Oil change and level adjustment
• Printing reports and accessing the vehicle database
• Displaying oil temperature and pressure
• Draining oil without opening the tank

How Is the Oil Change Performed?

1- Separate the connection compartment

2- Prepare connection ends with the supplied fittings

Note: CAT-501S has two separate sections for new and used oil. No matter how much oil you add to the Launch unit, only the amount you set is used during the procedure.

3- Set and enter the required quantity

4- A 10-minute countdown starts; the engine must run throughout

5- Change gear every minute

6- Start the oil change when the countdown finishes

7- The set amount of oil is exchanged

8- The device drains old transmission fluid and adds new fluid

9- Remove hoses and restore the normal connection when finished
