Automatic Transmission Fluid Change with Launch CAT-501

The device has three separate fill areas. One is for additive oil, which you can add easily from the dedicated fill opening on top.

The second is the section for transmission fluid, filled from the side of the machine. During the change, the old fluid also collects in a third tank.

You can drain the collected fluid automatically whenever you want.

After the required fill levels are reached, you can start the procedure.

Transmission fluid change works so that even if you fill the machine tanks completely, only the amount you set is used during the job.

This prevents charging the customer for extra fluid.

Fluid change machine — with the Launch CAT-501, suppose the vehicle's total sump capacity is 7 liters. You can change only 5 liters and perform a partial exchange. Or, if the customer agrees, you can use 9 or 10 liters to fill the entire sump with clean fluid and flush the inside thoroughly with extra oil.

Automatic transmission fluid change also solves the problem of how to bill the customer for extra fluid use, because the job is done only with the amount you define.

You should start by adding the additive oil first. The fully Turkish menu guides you through the steps. Before starting the fluid change, the vehicle must run for 10 minutes.

During those 10 minutes, the gear selector should be moved through the gears at roughly one-minute intervals while the engine runs. Gear shifting is not mandatory during this step, but it is recommended.

Especially reverse, the vehicle should be left in each gear for about one minute in sequence.

When the process is complete, you can receive a written report.
