How Do Universal Tire Pressure Sensors Compatible with All Brands Work?

How Do Universal Tire Pressure Sensors Compatible with All Brands Work?

Tire pressure sensors gradually began to appear in vehicles in 2006. With the development of technology, the electronic operating system of vehicles, and the importance given to safety, tire pressure sensors became mandatory in manufactured vehicles after 2014.

Tire pressure sensors continuously monitor tire pressure values and warn the vehicle user in case of any problem. In other words, they detect instant changes in tires and help prevent traffic accidents.

They also ensure the driver always has a comfortable and satisfying driving experience.

In addition, stable and healthy tire pressure reduces the vehicle's fuel consumption, lowers emissions, and keeps tire wear to a minimum.

This technology is called Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

How Does a Tire Pressure Sensor Work?

There are two different types of tire pressure sensors. One is the direct method, used in the latest high-technology automobiles. The other is the indirect method, which detects differences in wheel rotation speed. The direct method provides more accurate and precise information than the other method.

It shows the driver correct wheel pressures, thus transferring real information to the driver.

Sensors work connected to the wheel valve. Sensors continuously measure the air pressure value in the tire cavity.

These sensors exist on all four wheels of the vehicle and instantly warn the driver when any air pressure changes.

What to Do When Tire Pressure Sensors Fail

When your vehicle's tire pressure sensors fail, replacement with a new sensor is possible.

After this replacement, registration of the tire pressure sensor on your vehicle is performed with tire pressure sensor registration devices.

The Autel TS508 model, one of Autel's tire pressure sensor devices, achieves successful results in this process.

It can read the identity of the new sensor to be installed and pair it with the vehicle, or a new identity can be created.

Sensor registration is performed simply and practically with this device.
