Adblue is a fluid known as an aqueous urea solution. Adblue is actually a brand name; because its manufacturer is the largest on the market, it is generally referred to by this name.

Adblue consists of thirty-two percent purified urea and sixty-eight percent water, and it began to be used in vehicles with liquid SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) systems to minimize the release of harmful gases from the exhaust, in other words to reduce emission levels.
