DoIP (Diagnostics over Internet Protocol) is diagnostic communication over Ethernet. On newer Toyota platforms it is used alongside, or in place of, classic Pass-Thru paths.
The assumption that "every OBD cable does DoIP" is not reliable. DoIP-capable interfaces such as toyota-mdi2-guide and an up-to-date toyota-techstream-guide are required. For classic fleets, toyota-mini-vci-guide is still relevant.
